People

The success of our business is underpinned by the 8,300 people who work for Dairy Crest and our joint venture Yoplait Dairy Crest, across 23 manufacturing and administration sites and 180 household depots.

We focus on creating an environment where people are well resourced, valued and motivated. In addition, we openly recognise people's career ambitions and work with them to achieve these wherever possible.

Importantly, we know that your priorities change as your life unfolds, and we are keen to develop ways we can work in with your lifestyle and individual requirements. We value all contributions from all of our staff, with the needs of our commercial team an absolute top priority.

"The things that impress me the most are the encouragement and support you get to ensure you move in the right direction combined with the broad base of experience on offer. Within just 9 months of joining, I was able to move from a Customer Service Management role to a new position as National Account Executive working with the leading multiples."
Danoushka Peniston.

"I am an ambitious person and as far as I am concerned, Dairy Crest really delivers. They allow me to continually stretch and build on my role, and are always prepared to reward success. They promised me responsibility and opportunity and have kept their word. After just 18 months I was looking after a £35m budget."
James Tunney.

"I joined Dairy Crest as a NAM four years ago and since then I've had many opportunities to progress my career, including a role as a Category Manager
and more recently as a Customer Marketing Controller. I've worked across many different business units which has offered continued variety and challenge and I'm now an Account Director for a leading multiple retailer. Dairy Crest has a great environment that really does support and reward individuals who perform and deliver."
Fleur Mangos.

"It’s the sheer category expertise that makes Dairy Crest such a strong, dynamic company and an exciting employer - you're genuinely working in partnership with your colleagues and your customers. It's a really positive culture and the commitment to training is exceptional."
Kim Horner.
